Whitehaven Beach is one of the most inspiring photographic locations in the world. I was lucky enough to have been there recently for a second time having learned some tips about the location which made it all the more memorable. As the large tides moves in and out of Hill Inlet you see the mist amazing and dreamy tones of blue and green evolve like a great abstract canvas right before your eyes. There is a lookout about 1 km away from where the boats land which is the best spot to watch this visual smorgasbord. But the trick is to be there when you have both high sun and a tide mid way (neither high or low) for the best range of colors. Fortunate this time around to have the timing right this was the result.
