On location in Thailand I had the opportunity to shoot regions where the 2004 Tsunami caused so much heartache and damage in Khao Lak. From orphanages, the film clips, the boats washed 1km inland the evidence was everywhere even though it was over 11 years ago. This image seemed so unbelievable. The sea was so calm and peaceful, at the exact spot where the tsunami hit the hardest, it was hard to imagine how different it was on that day.
