Three weeks before Hurricane Irma hit the Florida I was on assignment in Miami. Stifling heat burning my feet on the sand while I took this photo. Beach goers were making their way to this kiosk like an oasis in the dessert – for a small piece of shade, water and ice cream. It was hard to imagine the fury that was about to follow. Hopefully this soon again, becomes the normal scene at South Beach.
